Herp Symposia

Venomous snakes as flagship species

10-12 October 2019.

  • Could snakes be ambassadors for conservation like panda’s?
  • How could you help support their conservation efforts?
  • What progress is being made?
  • How can we resolve the human- snake conflict?

These and many more topics will be discussed at the 2019 herp symposium.

The 11th and 12th of October will feature a range of interesting talks from 11 world renowned speakers, and many other researchers from the fields of ecology, biology, toxicology and herpetology.

The 10th of October is an exclusive day that will specifically cater to the needs of students and teachers, and can only be attended through a personal invitation of your educational institute.

Edupet and the Herpetofauna foundation are very much looking forward to welcoming you at the Symposium “Venomous snakes as flagship species”.
